Telephone Calls
We operate a triage system for all urgent/same day appointment requests. If you require a same-day appointment you will be called back by a doctor or a nurse practitioners, who will give you advice, arrange any tests that are required and if necessary book you an appointment. Please let the receptionist know if you will have difficulty answering the phone or need to be called at specific times. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements. We may ask you for a reason for your appointment, this is so we can guide you to the most appropriate clinician.
If a patient wishes to speak to a particular doctor for a non urgent matter, a pre-bookable telephone appointment can be made. It is not always possible to speak to a particular doctor on the day the patient rings. Some of our clinicians are working remotely therefore calls may be from a withheld number.
Face to Face Appointments with a GP
Pre-bookable face to face appointments are available at the surgery with any GP or a GP of your choice, some of which have special interests. We may ask you for a reason for your appointment, this is so we can guide you to the most appropriate clinician.
Online Appointments
Currently you can book online for blood tests and smears at the practice. You do this via the online services section on the website, please contact reception if you don't have an account for this.
